About Alpine Village

The Alpine Village subdivision is located on the outskirts of South Fork Colorado, at the junction of County Roads 15 and 18.
It is divided in 10 different areas: Alpine Villages 1-8, Alpine Vista and Alpine Vista Extension.
Rio Grande County requires a minimum distance of 100 feet between your well and septic tank. Since most lots at Alpine are 60’ x 110’, it requires 2 adjacent lots to build a house with well and septic.
The properties on our price list are at least double lots with a few triples.
County Road 15 bisects the subdivision into the valley side and the mountain side. The valley side is fairly flat as it abuts the Rio Grande River. Most of the residences are manufactured housing. The mountain side has very good views and has many more permanent, single family homes.
Other than County Road 15, all other roads are dirt roads. The roads vary widely in condition from smooth surfaces to very poor to not installed.
The subdivision is adjacent to golf communtiy surrounding the Rio Grande Club.
