SouthForkLots.com is composed of the father and son team: Kris and Buzz Tietig. Buzz Tietig is an attorney with over 40 years experience in the real estate industry. He is currently a resident of the Rio Grande Valley, living just east of South Fork. Kris Tietig is the Sales Manager and the person to contact for information about the properties.
Although we are from Florida, we were immediately attracted to the South Fork area for several reasons. First, it is a beautiful valley. Second, we recognized the potential of this area due to the recreational activities it had to offer. The Valley is quickly turning from an agricultural economy to a tourist destination. We feel that it resembles the famous Colorado ski towns like Vail, Telluride and Breckenridge as they were several decades ago. The appeal is that the prices are still very affordable as the Valley begins to grow. Finally, the South Fork area provided the perfect change of scenery from Florida. The mountains, rivers, and wildlife are features we don’t get to enjoy down here.

The transaction can be completed by mail. You do not have to come to Colorado or Florida to submit a contract or attend the closing. Please contact us to convey an offer. We can write the offer on a Colorado Land Sales contract or you can download the contract from this website. The signed contract can be faxed or scanned/emailed.
